my favorite hk singer, leslie cheung, apparently committed suicide by jumping off the 24th floor of the mandarin oriental hotel. friends says that he was suffering from "emotional problems."

i hope he rests in peace. it's such a shame cuz he was really a great singer (one of the ones i can stand listening to), and he's such a good actor too. films like, a better tomorrow, a better tomorrow 2, happy together, temptress moon, the chinese feast, he's a woman, she's a man just to name a few. i'll certainly miss him.
